# Welcome to Tracely

Tracely is an AI assistant that builds games with you in Unity or Godot. Describe what you want to create, and the AI will code scripts, debug issues, add components, find assets, and much more.

We take the security of your project and account data seriously. **We** **keep your project data safe** through industry standard encryption and access-control practices, and never use your project data to train models. See our [Security](/security) FAQ for more details.

## Why use Tracely?

The problem with existing AI tools is that they don't integrate directly with Unity or Godot - which means you have to constantly describe your scene and project context to use AI tools effectively. Moreover, most existing tools are not able to take action directly in engine - they can't help you edit your actual scene or anything in the Editor itself.

Instead, Tracely:

* **Understands your project** – Uses your scene hierarchy, scripts, selection, and settings so suggestions fit your setup
* **Acts in the Editor** – Creates and edits scripts, GameObjects, components, prefabs, materials, UI, physics, and more, without leaving Unity
* **Lets you choose** – Adjusts how much context is sent and freely switches between Agent, Debug, and Ask modes

## How much does Tracely cost?

You can try Tracely for free! After an extended number of free responses and actions taken by our AI agent, you will need to subscribe to one of our monthly plans to continue using Tracely.
